Waiting List
You can now join the waiting list for 1st Burnmoor on our website, just click the link here or at the bottom of every page.
Leaders will be notified, and we will be in contact when there’s room for your child in whichever section is age appropriate. You can join the waiting list as early as you like so when your child turns 6 we can get them straight into Beavers.
Please be aware some of our sections are currently full and some age groups may not be able to be offered places unless we have any leavers from the group, current estimated wait times:
- Beavers (6-8 yo) - 1-2 terms
- Cubs (8-10.5 yo) - Full
- Scouts (10.5-14 yo) - Full
Volunteer
We offer a variety of flexible roles, whether you're supporting young people directly or working behind the scenes. Every bit of help makes a huge difference.
Not sure if Scouting is for you? Volunteer with us for just four weeks with the Four Week Challenge and discover the impact you can have.
Week 1:
Join a session, meet our section leadership team, and see what Scouting is all about.
Week 2:
Start lending a hand with activities.
Week 3:
Get more involved in assisting with the program.
Week 4:

And don’t worry, the Four Week Challenge doesn’t need to be completed in consecutive weeks. You can participate as your schedule allows.
