In light of the unprecedented situation of all face-to-face Scouting being suspended we look to new ways to continue Scouting.

To join in you will need a smartphone, tablet or PC with webcam.

Meetings will be held every other Wednesday at the following times:

  • Beavers 5:30-6:15pm
  • Cubs 6:30-7:15pm
  • Scouts 7:30-8:30pm

  • Camp@Home2 is been held by Durham Scouts, this will be from the 31 July-2nd of August, more details on Parent Portal and on the Camp@Home Facebook Group.

Badges from home

Parent Portal has a new feature, Badges From Home. In the badges section you can now view all section badges, badge requirements and badge progress. You can then click "Complete At Home", upload photos and videos and tick which requirements you have covered, leaders will be notified and they will check the evidence and update your badge records accordingly.

The Great indoors

Scouts.org as the experts in developing skills and bringing adventure to young people, have added some great activities you can do at home, with over 100 activities to chose from its sure to keep your young people busy during this hard time, in the activity packs you'll also see what badge requirements you can tick off at the same time, don't forget to upload to Parent Portal.
