On Tuesday the 15th March we did some fire lighting with some things we had made the week before. We had shavings made with a pencil sharpener and cotton wool covered in Vaseline. We also tried to burn some Doritos. To help us light the fire we used strikers and when lighting the fire I think the cotton wool covered in   Vaseline went down the most successful and kept the fire going for quite a while.

Their activity cards (Adam has got some) will show you what you need to do to take on extreme adventures that will test your adventure skills to the very limits. Read the books to see which activities are out there. Use the cards to help you in the activities, then take the challenge.

Ask Adam for the cards and you can borrow a book to discover the possible adventures. Bring your ideas to Scouts in the New Year.
