Scouts made some mess with big toys at Komatsu.

Following a fantastic tour of the Birtley factory Scouts were let loose in the testing ground in up to 49-ton excavators.

Summer Camp 2024 was a little different from our normal Summer Camps, as our kit was in storage we stayed in a Ennerdale Scout Center, despite the weather (lots and lots of rain and wind) everyone had a fantastic time enjoying high ropes, ampfires and so much more!

Our Scouts recently visited Games Workshop to complete their Model Maker activity badge. The staff at Games Workshop were very impressed with the fantastic attitude and behaviour of all of our Scouts, Well Done! 

Hello, my name is Grace Johnson,

I was this year's best Scout at Summer Camp 2023 and I want to tell you all about it!! 

Summer Camp is an amazing experience to go on. It is when you go on a week-long trip with your friends and leaders and go with them to different activities all over the site. You get to learn new things and face old fears. I certainly did😂! 

First day, we settled in and enjoyed looking around the site and playing Manhunt and other games it was really fun! We put up our tents and loaded our bags off the van. We got settled in and then ate food which was very delicious ( it almost felt like I was at home ). That night we had a tuck shop and talked around the camp fire and I met loads of new friends who I had never talked to before 😁😁😁.
