Thank you to all our young people, leaders and family members for attending the Christingle at Chester-Le-Street. The Christingle is a fantastic time to reflect on our year of Scouting and the amazing effects our leaders and volunteers put in to make it happen.

Congatulations to Stephen who was presented his wood beads at the Christingle following completing his AGSL training this year.

Congratulations to our other leaders who have achieved awards and permits this year:

Steph - Climbing permit
Stephen - Commisioner's Commendation, climbing permit and camping permit
Vicky - 5 years service and climbing permit

We currently have lots of volunteers training for various roles and permits so in 2020 will see lots more Awards, Wood Beads and Permits for our volunteers, good luck everyone.

Well done to our young people who achieved the top awards in their sections this year presented by the County Commissioner in September, the top awards are achieved by completing all the challenge awards, challenge awards are completed during meeting nights, camps and events, so to get them our young people need to regularly attend and try and get to as many sleepovers, camps and expeditions as possible. 2019 awards are:

Bronze (Beavers):
Jamie, Merick and Thomas

Silver (Cubs):
Calum, Emily and William

See you all in 2020 for another fantastic year of Scouting.
